Camera seems to be working perfectly... *knocks on wood*
The new memory card seems to be doing it's job and not malfunctioning. Woohoo.
I also had some serious camera envy at the bridge dedication today.

Excellent news, and I'm glad your diagnosis was correct. If that card came witht he camera, I hope you're going to get a replacement from the seller.
Incidentally, that Lumix I bought is doing well. I made prints at the drugstore from it (my first experience with that) and printing an 8 by 10 while zooming into the frame gave excellent results.
And yet, camera enviy is eternal. I feel your pain. I'm currently trying to figure out how to get my hands on a prosumer video cam like the dvx100b. But as with all tech, the longer I wait, the smarter I"ll feel.
I don't think I can get a replacement - it said no returns.
I'm glad the Lumix is working for you. :) My images seem to be fuzzy though - so I may send the camera back anyways before it's too late.
Yes, now that I've had a taste I want my digital SLR. ;)
