Day Off

I have MLK Day off. I'm going to enjoy it.

Oh, and also lay on an ice-pack and watch The Discovery Channel because I fell down my steps this morning and attempted to run yesterday.

Ouch, that doesn't sound healthy... although I do admire you for attempting to run. It's something I could never bring myself to do.

Unless it's out of sheer necessity, of course!

LOL - yes, I always "aspire" to run but that usually turns into a fast walk.

But now I'm attempting to run certain roads for certain distances and then walking a little and then start up again.

So the muscles that weren't bruised from the fall were sore from the running.

Now my muscles have recovered and my knee and left shoulder are still recuperating from the fall.

Ouch on both fronts. hope you get better and as for running, funny thing is if I run a mile I'm about to barf but I can surf six hours like there's no tomorrow. As for MLK off, I actually had work but generated a massive migraine... The body is a smart sentient being, we only inhabit it and when you shouldn't work, you won't. :D ... Wait a minute, I'm starting to sound like a Scientologist.... booom.... crackle..... foomm..... psshhh.... OH NO !!!! I'm infected!!!!

AHA! That's my problem today. :p

    Ha ha ha.

Thanks though. I'm not a big runner... I broke my kneecap once and so I've managed to avoid it for a while. Although, my progress right now is one block = puke. ;)

lol nice progress and OUCHHHHHHHHHH I've heard of some nasty knee injuries lately. sorry to hear you among them and hope you continue to progress. About the problem with work, I'd describe my attitude towards work as something in between apathy and who gives a shit what I do, lets see if the afternoon gets better.

    I thought so. :p

Although, I'm like you... an elliptical machine I can do all day. Running, blech. :p

I dunno, I just looked at the clock and had the "it's ONLY 12:30?!?!" reaction.
