They said all slain students would be posthumously awarded the degrees they were pursuing.I think that's fantastic.
In addition, the university announced that Virginia Tech's 26,000 students will be given a choice whether to return to class for the remaining weeks of the semester when courses resume on Monday.
"We're going to encourage them to continue with class," said Mark McNamee, university provost. "But also do it in the context of what they're capable of."
