Article at The Sun. :p

Really????

Some of you know I love weird stuff. And if you don't, now you do. LOVE it. Let me be clear that I don't necessarily BELIEVE it. But I love to watch and read up on it. Bigfoot, UFOs, ghosts, all of it.

So articles like this catch my eye. It's about a Firefighter's manual that supposedly has a chapter about what to do if you have to respond to what ends up (I'm guessing) and alien crash site. Best part though - it's Chapter 13. REALLY??

A 600-page guide may lend credibility to UFO believers.

The Fire Officer's Guide To Disaster Control can apparently be found in firehouses across the United States.

It covers everything from fire and flood response to aviation disasters.

Chapter 13 of the book has an unusual twist. Titled "Enemy Attack And UFO Potential", it outlines what could happen in the event of a UFO crash.

If you're bored and need a laugh, the article is here.

So apparently a cow abduction video has been posted to Google Video and since it's Friday the 13th, I thought I'd share it.

And to tie it back to advertising/design: I'm a dork, so one of the best sites ever - CowAbduction.com. Yeah, I love it. The companion site with the aliens (Brittlactica) wasn't that great and it was too over-the-top in my opinion. But cow abductions? Fan-ta-bulous.

Name that song and I'll give you some of my "Food Sticks" when they arrive. ;)

How pretty is that?

This 3-D computer simulation, created by the University of Chicago researches and released March 22, shows the death throes of an exploding white-dwarf star the size of Earth. The green sphere represents the extent of the star, and other colors stand for hot temperatures (yellow and orange) and cooler temperatures (blue and red). A flame bubble can be seen emanating from the stars core.

This image was one of 1,600 images France's National Center for Space Studies agency released. If it's not a UFO, that's the coolest lightening phenomenon I've ever seen.

Their server crashed over the weekend because so many people came to look at over "100,000 pages of witness testimony, photographs, film footage and audiotapes from its secret UFO archives."
