My mother just called me to tell me that there was a man in a ski mask and a shot gun walking through my neighborhood the other day and they haven't caught him yet.
I guess I've now got bigger things to look out for during my 6:00am walk than the neighbor's dog not being on a leash.
Why is this interesting? Because last night I learned that Bluefield is known as "Nature's Air Conditioned City." because it's mean temperature in the summer is in the 70's.
So what happens when it gets/got over 80˚?
The Chamber of Commerce would hand out free lemonade. At the JC Penny, the Train Station and one other place but the storyteller couldn't remember where.
