Ok, so apparently I've taken the summer off. I'm not exactly sure how it's mid-August. Not only that, but I haven't even been watching TV that much. I know... horrors. What the hell?
So my sister drug me out of my self-imposed hermitage and made me watch Ghost Hunters last night. They have these awesome little show promos that were running for Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth (yeah, if you didn't know I love weird shit, now you do), that I just love. I think the way they were shot is gorgeous. I'm also probably about 3 weeks late on this, so humor me.
However, when I went looking for them this morning I found that they're clips from a much longer (almost 3 excruciating minutes) video promoting the whole channel. You have to wade through to the two clips I like. Some of the others aren't bad too... but the music? I don't know... maybe it's just me but I think it ruins it. I'm not sure what I'd pick in it's place... but definitely not something so... so... cute. I think that's the word I'm going for.
Anyway, here's the video. See for yourself. Tell me how you're doing. And I'll try to not stay away so long from now on. :p

It's now officially Fall and last night I came home to a surprise present from a friend: Halloween candy. She has a 3-year old and a 6-year old and it was their idea to leave the candy.
I can ignore milk chocolate, and Whoppers (which I'd never had before) and I can even ignore Kit Kat's and suckers, but dammit she put Reese's Cups and Junior Mints and I am trying my best to stay out of the kitchen.
September is almost over, which means my FAVORITE month in the whole year is starting soon. Shortly the leaves will start changing and the nights are days are already cooler. I'm going to start making pumpkin pies and soups and I'm going to make my sister make her Butternut Squash lasagna.
I really wish I could take the whole month of October off. I can't but I did take a week off and I can't wait for it. It's taking forever to get here.
Anyway, to get you in the mood, at least a little, because October also brings Halloween! So here are 7 Spooky Ghost Towns for you to enjoy. Or at least procrastinate a little with.
At least the time in which I have to give out candy. I had over 75 kids... thank god most of them were young and cute. I always buy more than enough candy.
On to watch The Live Ghost Hunters.

I had a nightmare last night and woke up in one of those cold sweats. At least I think I did. I fell asleep watching Ghost Hunters, the one where they're in Kentucky at the Waverly Hills Sanitarium (that's as close as I get to reality TV).
I don't usually get nightmares. All I remembered when I woke up was that there was somebody beside me (to my right) that wasn't supposed to be there and that to my left there should have been a plant that was now gone. Therefore, ergo... someone was in my house - possibly a paranormal someone.
And it took me a good 5 - 10 minutes to figure out what was going on and why I thought I had a plant in my room.
Well, it was different from being on a shaky ledge or dark water.
