I feel sorry for Santa.
Not a fan.

That's the worst one.

*Sigh*

Y'all should be so proud of me. I made a little Flash intro, all by myself. Yeah, so what if it wasn't very complicated? I did it. :p

Oh, and if I NEVER hear the words "too much white space" again, I think I'll be OK.

Secondly, we hate the Glade Scented Candle commercials in my house. Only the first one is up on YouTube that I can find. Why? Because the woman is a pathological liar and her friends and family should have had an intervention years ago - I mean who lies about candles? To add to the complete horribleness which is these commercials - the latest one has a talking/moving ginger bread cookie. We throw things at the TV.

Lastly, I HEART the new Slowskys commercial where they're in a movie getting ready for it to start. It's not on YouTube yet because apparently not every one shares my love of those silly turtles.

There's another juried art show coming up and I have to figure out what to enter. Something I've done in the last 2 years and the deadline is fast approaching. Cross your fingers I figure something out.

Oh, and happy Veteran's Day. :)

Weird...

This was pointed out to me when I posted that M&Ms commercial by Joshua Shaner.

OMG - weird... and ridiculous.

To get that out of your head, I give you something actually funny dealing with Hot Pockets.

Let me preface this by saying that I LOVE Cheetos. I could eat them all day long. Really. I don't like Cheese Puffs - I like Cheetos.

But this, this makes me never want to eat them again. This is disgusting. WTF were they thinking? What is with making food/snacks (ala Planter's Peanuts) as unappetizing as humanly possible. Don't you want the opposite effect on customers??

I found it (scroll to the bottom). And on top of everything - they're proud enough of this to put it on their website.

Who thought this was a good idea?? I doubt I'm the only the that finds this degrading... and as Jetpacks put it on the previous post - reminiscent of date rape.

JC Penny Hypnotize Commercial

Weird One-Liners

Listening to the radio this morning I heard a commercial for the Ellen DeGeneres Show. They were using testimonials and this was one womans:

I don't drink coffee in the morning, I drink Ellen.

I can't make this stuff up.

At least not here. The lyrics don't even rhyme. And they play this ALL the time...

WARNING: This could seriously get stuck in your head.

I know that for some reason someone at KFC thinks it'll be cool to put one of those mosquito ring tones in the some buckets of chicken.

They've got a commercial now for this. That ring tone is HORRIBLE. My sister and I thought it was just our TV, we both looked at each other like "what the hell was that?" But then we've heard it 2 times since. And if you have your TV up it'll make your ears bleed. Thank g-d I don't have dog.

I DESPISE this commercial. Not only is the acting bad, but it makes my head hurt. My only thought is the people who thought this was cool, can't hear that sound. Think of the highest pitch, shrillest noise you can think of - it's like one step below a dog whistle... but worse.

The good thing is that my TV upstairs is so old that it can't produce it.

*Warning: This commercial is annoying*

I was subjected to this one while watching The Weather Channel. It seems they sponsor the local forecast.

They actually have a second commercial where the actor/actress says how much they can't stand the commercial - but they love the product. I would think it would make your forehead all greasy.
